Richard is Khaya’s Director, and is based in our headquarters in Portugal. With his team, he oversees all the legal and financial aspects of our business. After ensuring that all nuts and bolts are in place, his highlight is watching it all come together in a packed stadium.

Volkhard is the CEO of Khaya. He is passionate about sports and is an avid cyclist. He enjoys watching football on TV, but prefers the live stadium atmosphere. When he’s not working, you can find him scouting the local coffee scene for the best cappuccino and croissants.

Mayara steers the ship as Khaya’s COO. She thrives in the hospitality world. When Mayara’s not tending to Khaya’s many moving parts, you’re likely to find her at a Brazilian barbeque, enjoying time with family and friends.

As Head Operations Manager, Ellen ensures that all of our guests have a wonderful stay. She is on-site from the first to the last day of our operations around the world. When time allows, Ellen enjoys hanging out with friends at home in Seoul.
