France, the new super power in sport
France will invite the world to their next football highlight, just three years after hosting an outstanding UEFA EURO Championship. In 2019, the country will host the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Matches will be played in 9 cities and the event will see 24 teams competing for the trophy. Most of the stadiums have a capacity of under 30 000 seats, which will almost guarantee sold-out matches across France.

Team USA, the defending Women’s World Cup champion, is expected to bring a large number of fans and media across the Atlantic.
