France, the new super power in sport

France will invite the world to their next football highlight, just three years after hosting an outstanding UEFA EURO Championship. In 2019, the country will host the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Matches will be played in 9 cities and the event will see 24 teams competing for the trophy. Most of the stadiums have a capacity of under 30 000 seats, which will almost guarantee sold-out matches across France.

Lyon hosts the final round

Team USA, the defending Women’s World Cup champion, is expected to bring a large number of fans and media across the Atlantic. Exquisite hotels in the city of Lyon, which will host the semi-finals and the final game, are almost fully booked. After winning the men’s title, the French women will do everything to turn the home-advantage in their favour.

Khaya is offering hotels and transport in all host cities and will be able to create tailor-made experiences. Contact us today.
