While England and South Africa will battle it out on the pitch of the Yokohama International Stadium this Saturday, there are already many other winners of this year’s rugby showpiece.
The Japanese have been formidable hosts, showing lots of passion in supporting their home team and others. The Brave Blossoms were the big surprise package of the event, and not even Typhoon Hagibis could put a damper on the Cup’s festivities.

Khaya’s guests enjoyed cultural experiences including sumo wrestling, drumming sessions and sake tastings. Our team made everything possible through their meticulous planning, including travels around the country by plane or in bullet trains.
The hotels in our portfolio ranged from charming to luxurious. The Keio Plaza in Shinjuku certainly made everyone happy, as guests could rub shoulders with players like Owen Farrell (ENG) and Faf de Klerk (RSA) as both the English and the South African teams stayed at the luxurious hotel during the tournament.

Once again, Khaya has proven itself as the leading accommodation provider at major sports events. We’re already looking forward to the highly anticipated Summer Olympics, which will be held between 24 July and 9 August 2020, followed by the Paralympics.
